Ruckus Wireless help needed vlan's ssid....

Hi,

 

Were due to take delivery of our new ruckus wireless system in the next month or so but we need help with vlans etc.

 

Basically we have 2 sites on differnet ip ranges and different vlans and what we are after is the same ssid's on both sites using those different ip ranges and vlans.

Is this even possible or is there a better configuration.

 

Let me know if I havent explained this very well and I will try to post more info.

Have you purchased any sort of install with your kit? Isn't the supplier helping you with this sort of thing? Just curious as we got all that done by the supplier

IN short, yes, you can definitely do this. Even if you use a single controller for the whole thing, you can set up groups of APs and send different settings to each group.

Excellent just what I wanted to hear, we have the supplier lined up but I havent had this conversation as I wanted to get most of it ready beforehand.

 

Just need to sort the vlans and routing now.
