Edu-IT Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Is it possible to login to this and view the spam/junk quarantine for domains? I want to create a new user to be able to access it if so however it doesn't seem to be working.
Edu-IT Posted May 23, 2013 Author Posted May 23, 2013 Okay so I've got in to the quarantine. Do I need to add each mailbox to FOPE for it to do its job? Right now, I can't see any mailboxes in the list to view spam for.
EduTech Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Hi, If you are an Administrator you may want to refer to the following KB Article regarding the issue with Administrators viewing FOPE *Pre-Upgraded*: Office 365 pre-upgrade administrators can't sign in to the Forefront Online Protection for Exchange (FOPE) Quarantine service to access mail quarantine For more information on Administration of FOPE please refer to the following Article: Office 365 FOPE administration - TechNet Articles - United States (English) - TechNet Wiki If I remember you are on E14 Tenancy, But if you have been upgraded then please do let me know and I will send you the relevant information for the new E15 Tenancy. Kindest Regards, James.
Edu-IT Posted May 23, 2013 Author Posted May 23, 2013 Doesn't say anything about Quarantine from what I see? As I say, I've got in. I just wonder whether I have to create each mailbox in FOPE for them to be protected and also how I view quarantine items.
EduTech Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Ok, It should be pretty straight forward to be honest once your in FOPE. Can you/your users do the following: How to log on to the FOPE quarantine service and personalize settings This will also show you how to manage FOPE: How to manage quarantined messages in FOPE Regards, James.
Edu-IT Posted May 24, 2013 Author Posted May 24, 2013 But do I need to create accounts in FOPE for all the email addresses on my domain as right now, there's none in there.
jamesbmarshall Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 FOPE is moving to EOP with the service upgrade to the new Office 365. Bear in mind that individual users do not have access to a quarantine. Every user is automatically protected by either FOPE or EOP - you don't need to create the users anywhere.
Edu-IT Posted May 24, 2013 Author Posted May 24, 2013 So I can't view quarantine for whole domain then?
