[sims] Exam module: Error when printing exam registers for students

Hiya.

 

Our exams officer is trying to print registers for exams and is getting an error:

 

Microsoft OLE DB provider for SQL Server - Query timeout expired

 

She needs to do 6 weeks worth of registers, but upon reducing the date range to print down to a single day, the error still appears.

 

I'll raise it with Capita, but could do with an answer before they're likely to respond. I guess I need to increase the timeout value. I've changed the one in connect.ini, but I know that's probably the wrong place. Any ideas?

 

I've tried on 3 machines so far all doing the same with different users, including myself as domain admin and pretty much everything access in SIMS. We're running the Spring 2013 release.

 

Any help most appreciated.

We did, patch 14265 fixed this for us.

Just got ours, didn't get told about a patch that arrived on teh 16th
