Toshiba L850 wireless

We've installed a blank Windows 7 setup on our Toshiba Sat-Pro L850, then added the drivers. We are finding the the Fn-F12 (or F12 depending on BIOS setup) only switches the Bluetooth and not the Wi-Fi on and off.

 

Can anyone give any guidance on how I can get the Fn-F12 to switch the Wi-Fi as well.

 

This is the source of a major headache on our school machines

We are experiencing the same issue. I have just raised it with our Toshiba contact.. so fingers crossed we will have an answer soon!

Sometimes you might have to download a separate install that controls the wireless button function. Have you still got a laptop with the preinstalled windows, so you can check if it works on that?

 

Also, I had a bios problem with the C850's. It may not affect the L850's but worth a look just in case:
