Logic Pro Scanning Audio Units

Morning everyone

 

We have a bit of a problem with our Logic 9 install on our macs.

 

Every time a student opens up Logic it insists on scanning audio units which can take 5+ minutes at a time.

 

Once its done that it will be fine until they next log off and log on again, at which point it scans again.

 

Anyone know why its doing this and how to stop it??

The only time i have known logic to rescan the units was when a) i updated logic on all the macs b) i deleted the library folder out of a students documents. Not really anything helpful but have you made sure logic is all up to date and your not doing anything funky with the library folder in their areas?
