Outlook 2010 Archiving

Hi

 

I'm hoping some on can help.

I have set up an archive on a staffs Outlook account, it ran and created the .pst folder in the users home folder, it has also created an Archive folder in the Outlook email account. When I try and open the file nothing happens. I tried File - Open - Open Data file - but like I said nothing happen.

The .pst file is definatley there and it has data in it.

Any advice would bre great

Did any e-mails or any folders get put\created in the .PST?

 

Have you tried link the .PST to another outlook? or try open the .PST by going into File - > account settings -> Data files then click "add" and select the .PST file and see if it opens.

I presume if you navigate to File > Account Settings > Account Settings > Data Files, that the path is correct?

Hi Thanks for your replys after a bit of rebooting and worrying the Archive finally worked - I have no idea how or why but thankfully it did.
