Lightspeed Rocket Web Filtering via TMG Firewall

We are currently trialling Lightspeed's MDM for managing iPads and their web filtering software via the Rocket box and it looks very promising. Our current firewall is Microsoft TMG and we are having problems getting traffic out from the rocket appliance to Lightspeed's servers when the appliance is in proxy mode. Does anyone have experience of running Lightspeed from behind a TMG firewall and could give advice on server publishing rules/NAT settings etc on TMG to allow traffic in both directions? I can provide further details if anyone has experience and may be able to help. Many thanks.

I am on paternity leave this week so a bit slow off the blocks

 

It should not be a problem going via TMG you just have to have a outbound firewall and NAT rule for the rocket IP to allow the ports the rocket needs. Namely TCP 80, 443, 1999 and UDP 1311.

Don't hold me to this but its about 2k for the single rocket appliance and £5 per client....although Rtfm seems to have got a right discount. Edited April 20, 2013 by Simcfc73
