Mobile Tablet Charging Station/Storage

Hi folks,

 

I saw a load of these at BETT, but stupidly didn't take any flyers.

 

Basically it's a flight case type box with foam inserts that allows storage of tablets (in this case I need one that does at least 16, for Nexus 7 tablets), but also has a suitable number of USB sockets to charge from.

 

It needs to be a case rather than a trolley, so it can be carried up and down stairs. Wheels would be ideal though, like a suitcase.

 

Anyone know someone who sells them? My Google-fu isn't finding it.

We've got some of the Loxit ones for 16 iPads. They are blooming heavy when full though - I wouldn't want to carry it up stairs!

Yes. The Loxit Charge Connect has decent tough plastic wheels, plenty of carrying handles, and good ventilation. 16 iPads weigh ~10Kg without any sort of case, so a class set is always going to be heavy. I'm glad we have lifts in our building.

It's a very well designed peice of kit indeed. Based on the classic Pelican case design. Unfortunately these cases are always going to weigh a fair amount when fully loaded. Far lighter than a 75 kilo trolley though!

I like the look of the iBank8 on the ict-direct website, but typically we have 10 ipad minis that we want to store and charge. I saw the Griffin Multidock 10 Bay at the Bett Show and that would fit the bill nicely but it's £500 compared to the £220 from ict-direct for the 8 bay cabinet. Does anyone have any ideas on alternatives?
