RMTSHARE

Hi

 

I am using RMTSHARE to share all of my students home directories out again as I have rebuilt the server that they are contained on. I am using the syntax:

 

rmtshare \\bgssds03\88DW12$=D:\Cohort2000\88DW12

 

and everysingle time it is failing on error 1783. I have downloaded the latest version of rmtshare but the same thing is happening. Any clues where I am going wrong?

Your using the wrong version of rmtshare. Use the one from the W2k resource kit rather than the NT4 one.
