TechSupp Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Just trying to build up our base image for our summer upgrade and as all pf our PC's now have DVD writes in could do with some DVD/CD writer software. Anyone got any suggestions, nothing complicated just the usual DVD video\data CD data\music creation.

mac_shinobi Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 CD Burner XP Is the one I Like to use : CDBurnerXP: Free CD and DVD burning software A list of free cd / dvd burning software here on the freecountry website --> Free CD and DVD Burning (Writing) and Copying Software (thefreecountry.com)
TechSupp Posted March 27, 2013 Author Posted March 27, 2013 We send out IMG burn and CD burner XP to all machines with an optical drive. Any reason why both?
FN-GM Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Any reason why both? IMG burn is pretty simple to use but limited. So its helpful for novice users. CD burner XP is more feature packed and better for the more advanced users. 1
Brpilot99 Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Windows 7 comes with its own free cd/dvd burning software.
VeryPC_Tom_M Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 +1 for Infrarecorder and ImgBurn. ImgBurn is really easy to learn to use. Infrarecorder has some additional features which are useful (converting .wavs to an Audio CD, etc)
mac_shinobi Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Infra recorder and cdburnerxp are similar aren't they as far as feature list etc ?
