Hi,

Is it possible to skin OWA in Exchange 2013 to the 2010 theme. So when we as a school (from the users view) are ready to upgrade to 2013 we can just switch it over.

Or is it a case of having a 2010 server serving as CAS for Exchange?

Thanks

I am pretty sure the versions would have to match, i.e. if you try and access a mailbox on Exchange 2010 via the Exchange 2013 OWA then you would be re-directed to the Exchange 2010 OWA. likewise, If you moved the mailbox to Exchange 2013 then you would be re-directed to the Exchange 2013 OWA if you attempted to use the 2010 OWA.

I don't think your allowed to open a 2013 Mailbox using 2010 OWA.

I would implement your Exchange 2013 Infrastructure and keep your exchange 2010 client access server up and running, when your ready to switch over then do your mailbox moves! :-)

No :p There's not really much point in upgrading if that's what you want to do >.>

At the moment, you can't even upgrade 2010 to 2013 anyway (You need Ex2013 CU1)

I know at the moment there isn't but soon. The idea is to upgrade OWA and Office together. In Sharepoint 2013 you can skin in with the 2010 skin.

The idea is to be able to switch to OWA 2013 when we are ready.

Thanks
