Ad93 Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 We are looking at getting some spare bulbs for some NEC projectors. When we have looked at the prices the compatible bulbs come out about £70 cheaper but we wondered whether the quality would be anything like that of the genuine bulbs. Basically has anyone ever used compatible bulbs and how have you found them? A:)
Millgate Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Hi Ad93, I've supplied tons of compatible bulbs and never had any issues. Let me know if you need a price Luke 1
Atari Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 I've seen lots of schools use these types of lamps and with no less a quality. Use a good supplier such as Millgate as Luke say's they do a lot of these replacement lamp products. Best. Will 2
Sylv3r Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 No issues when i've bought compatibles in the past. If theres only £10 difference or so I go for the genuine product, but for £70 it's a no brainer - compatibles all the way. 1
laserblazer Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 I got some Hitachi ones that were just the lamp. I had to unscrew the old lamp from the assembly and attach the new lamp. Comparably cheap and "greener" than the other options. 1
