LosOjos Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 The speakers connected to my machine are in the wrong order, i.e. the left is on my right, the right is on my left. I can't move them because the one speaker has the plug wired to it and the position of my desk means it has to be where it is to reach. Anybody know of any free programs or registry hacks I can perform to switch the channels? I know I can do it in VLC, but I mainly listen to music via Spotify. It's not a major issue by any means and I can certainly live with it, it's just one of those things that'd be nice to have! Thanks in advance

Yeah I could quite easily rewire a 3.5mm lead to flip the channels, but I can't do that right now one for the weekend if I don't find a software solution

Ha, yeah but then I have to turn my monitors upside down, mount my chair on the ceiling... it all gets out of hand too quickly. It's the power plug that doesn't reach. They're those annoying speakers with a power cord hard wired to one of the speakers. I could cut it and extend it but making a reversed 3.5mm cable will be easier and safer (imagine the PAT tester's face if they see a DIY power cord extension!)
