Vista and Outlook 2002 problem

Hey there, I have just purchased a new laptop which came with Vista. I have installed office 2002 and have a problem with outlook. I have entered my passwords for both incoming and outgoing mail POP/SMTP and ticked the save password boxes but every time i sign in I am asked to renenter the passwords. Can anyone help?

Are you allowing outlook through the firewall?

Sounds like a registry issue. It's a known issue and isn't likely to be rectified. See below:

Thanks for your help. I guess I will just have to type in the passwords every time. Not that big a deal - just annoying really.

mmmmm, perfection is not easy. I have only just started using Vista so will see how it goes - hopefully there will not be too many annoying issues.
