I have uninstalled my logitech camera but the program files are still there and my computer will not allow me to uninstall them - I get a message saying I need to have permission. This is a personal laptop computer - I am the only user - how do I get permission to delete?

I may have found the problem, there are still some logitech files under program files (even though I have uninstalled the camera) - NEW PROBLEM - my computer will not allow me to delete this file. I get an error message saying 'you need permission to delete this file', this is a personal laptop computer - who do I need permission from? I have tried everything suggested on the Fujitsu Siemens (my computer brand) help files to no avail. Help!

Thanks for your reply, There is a green light which goes out when I switch off, but the batteries still run down. I had thought I would have to take the batteries out, but just one is better, the little things we don't think of!

Thank you, I am certain I have already got the latest update and removed all the drivers but will try again just in case. Cheers.

I have a great set of very small speakers for my laptop - they are only about a year old and have worked fine up until now, they operate on 4 AAA battereis and plug into the USB port. The last few times I have used them the batteries seem to run flat as soon as the speakers are turned off, i.e. I put in new batteries, use the speakers for 10 minutes during a presentation then turn them off, next day the batteries are flat, I have replaced the batteries several time with the same result - once I turn off the speakers the batteries never works again. Any ideas?

Hello, I made a mistake when installing my new camera, I plugged it into the USB port before running the installation disk, the camera appeared to install and the sound works fine but my computer does not recognise that there is a camera. I uninstalled and reinstalled before plugging in to the USB port but to no avail - my computer does not recognise there is a camera installed. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I have tried emailing Logitech help desk and I receive a reply saying I will get an answer in 24 hours, it has now been six days and I have tried contacting them 3 times to no avail.

mmmmm, perfection is not easy. I have only just started using Vista so will see how it goes - hopefully there will not be too many annoying issues.

Thanks for your help. I guess I will just have to type in the passwords every time. Not that big a deal - just annoying really.

Hello, It s definitely the third or ring finger on the x. I had to type "the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" to be sure - this phrase uses every letter in the alphabet and was a touch typing technique - to type it over and over again. I was taught to touch type 30 years ago on a manual typewriter with a cover over the keyboard so you could not see the keys and when the covers where eventually taken off a teacher walked up and down the isles with a ruler to wack you on the knuckles if you sneaked a look. True story. It is one skill I am really glad I have and would recommend learning to touch type the correct way to all computer users, I can type at about 100 words a minute on a computer, used to be about 65 words a minute on the old manual typewriter. Also it looks really cool when you can look at people and have a conversation with them whilst still typing a way - my geek claim to fame - it is very impressive.

Hello, I have searched this site for answer to this question but had no luck, if I have missed it apologies in advance. My question is how do you ungroup and change the sizes of individual shapes or text boxes in word organisation charts which have been inserted via "insert diagram". I can resize or move the whole chart but there does not seem to be an option for ungrouping or resizing. Do you know how? Thanks
