Hi,

We have SIMS Learning Gateway hosted externally by Capita. To allow it to access our data a virtual network device sits on our server and provides a connection to the Capita servers. This obviously has it's own IP address that sits outside our own range. I've a number of machines that seem to be picking this IP address up from DNS as the IP of the SIMS server. This is obviously causing issues as they then can't see the server. When it does this I run a flushdns on the machine and all is OK. However, a few days later it'll happen again. I've tried deleting the record from the DNS server but it just re-appears. I've spoken to Capita about this and they say it's our issue not theirs, even though it's the virtual network device causing the issue.

Has anyone else had this?

Thanks.
