CMIS & KS2 Results

Hi All

 

 

I have downloaded our KS2 data for our upcoming Y7 students from the Key to Success website. I have all the data in an xml file but struggling to find how to import it?

 

Any ideas?

I think you need the CTF file not the XML file, import the CTF file in the normal way, CTF_IN

The XML extension are CTF files but i am unsure where to upload it too

So they are - My Bad,

 

Log yourself into CMIS

 

Go to 'Returns' | 'CTF' | 'Import CTF'

 

Im not sure if the XML/CTF file needs to be in the $driveletter$/Admin/CTF-In

 

Use the dialog box which opens to browse for your file

 

You have a few tick boxes at the bottom of the dialog box,

 

No tick for - ‘Overwrite core data where clashes occur’

No tick for - ‘Overwrite present data where clashes occur’

 

Make sure you set entry date for students

 

No tick for - ‘Allocate numbers staring’

 

Those would be my settings, but you may have guideance on what you need to Tick or Not Tick.

 

Thats the basics, never imported Ks2 results, maybe you should backup before you do this.
