RM CC4 Services disappeared - Lots of RM apps not running after update

Hi Guys,

 

Anyone on CC4 had any issues with a recent update?

 

I have been updating system packages and it has failed on a number of machines and when you login you get messages saying the following was not installed properly

ExclusiveUseChecker.exe

AUPViewer.exe

ConcurrentLogonConfigApp.exe

MyConnectUsernameDisplay.exe

MyConnectSystrayLauncher.exe

 

Tried health checks and restarting, reassigning the update but the machines it failed on are offline in the RMMC. When looking in services loads of the RM services have disappeared!!! :S

 

We had installed update 110 a couple of weeks back.

 

Anyone had anything similar. Is rebuild going to be the only fix?

 

Thought the half term was going to easily.

If the core upgrade has failed you will need to rebuild I'm afraid. You can try doing a core upgrade manually same as you would the servers but I would hold out much hope

Is this the same with all logins? How many pcs are affected?

Did exactly the same.

 

Updated 200 machines.

 

6 failed.

 

Reapplied the update and managed to recover 5 had to rebuild 1.

I've had about 10 fail out of 450 machines. It's when it fails on a personal laptop owned by a member of senior leadership the headaches begin.

When you say reapplied the update is that just updating system packages? or another way.
