Oaktech Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Hi, I made a mistake creating the users home drive in my files and now it won't let me remove it... If I try to remove the drive in setup, I get the following error The formatter threw an exception while trying to deserialize the message: There was an error while trying to deserialize parameter HAP.Web.API:drive. The InnerException message was 'There was an error deserializing the object of type System.String. The token ':' was expected but found ','.'. Please see InnerException for more details. Help!
nickbro Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 You can try editing the hapConfig.xml directly if you are having problems
JJonas Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 Im having the same problem this morning, except I cant edit hapConfig.xml because the file is missing from my Hap/App_data folder
nickbro Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 HAP+ wouldn't work if that file was missing. Have you correctly installed HAP+? You may of forgotten to convert the folder into an application in IIS manager
JJonas Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 Good point Nick. Its my fault, I had forgotten what server I configured HAP on. Was looking for hapConfig.xml on the wrong server.
