Free/OSS Software Suggestions for New Image?

Hi all,

 

We are building a new image for our primary school classrooms, and I thought it a good opportunity to ask if anyone has any suggestions for interesting free/open-source software I can include on the off chance a teacher may find it useful, please? I'm talking about educational software (in a primary setting), rather than juicy admin stuff for us

 

Things like GCompris, the MS Learning Suite, etc.
