unixman_again Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 In moodle 2, the navigation block for a course shows links "topic 1", "topic 2", etc. According to the moodle website, https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-20628, these links can be changed to whatever you want. I am unable to perform this change and I hope that somebody out there know how. The attached image hopefully explains what I mean. We would like "topic 1" to say "forms to download for year 12", "topic 2" to say "forms to download for year 13", etc. Thanks in advance.
penfold_99 Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Which version of Moodle are you on? Is "Form to download for year 12" the section name? If not it wont change the what is displayed in the navigation block. 1
unixman_again Posted February 13, 2013 Author Posted February 13, 2013 Answering self. You need to type the topic name into the "section name" box (not the text editor) and untick the "use default section name" box and they do change. This is not the expected behavior but if it works then so be it.
