pooley Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Ok I am trying to show the HT what O365 is etc. I have logged in, we are using plan A2 which I think gives us Web apps and Outlook, I have outlook, but no web apps and Sharepoint (team whatever) is just giving errors. What simple task am I missing ? Si
Michael Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Firstly purchase A2 licenses which are free. Then under Management > Users, select a user, you should be able to specify which role(s) they have access to including Exchange, Lync, SharePoint and Office Web. When bulk uploading users you can specify the roles users have as part of the process.
pooley Posted February 12, 2013 Author Posted February 12, 2013 That's what I thought but I don't have web apps as an option.
CyberNerd Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 If you want web apps, you might want to look at the Google Marketplace.
TheScarfedOne Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Not an Office 365 user - but @EduTech @apearce are good sources of info. May also be worth a support call if having issues
EduTech Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Hi, What error are you getting? If you have a word document uploaded to a Library, are you able to view it in the Word Web App or do you just get an error. It should look something like this when you click on any document that has been uploaded. If you don't see this, then please upload the error that you are getting. Do you get the following in user management? or are you saying that the top licence option is missing? Regards, James.
pooley Posted February 17, 2013 Author Posted February 17, 2013 Thanks for all the advice, looks like it was an LA firewall issue blocking share point part of 365
