Al_NetSupport Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 We are just about to release an update today for NetSupport DNA, version 4.50 F2. One new feature we have added is an option so that Teachers ( without any Console software installed ) are able to manage and reset student passwords. Naturally in AD, you'll need to ensure Teacher AD accounts have rights to reset passwords on accounts - something like this ... http://www.netsupportdna.com/images/delegate.jpg Then in NetSupport DNA, you can quickly enable the new feature within your Console, under the user settings panel. http://www.netsupportdna.com/images/enablefeature.jpg Once enabled, any Teacher can simply right click on their sysetm tray icon for the DNA agent (or access the new desktop icon for the feature if you have also chosen to enable) ... and voila they are self sufficient dealing with student account issues. All they need is the DNA agent on their PC, No Console at all, just like every other device in the school. http://www.netsupportdna.com/images/manageaccount.jpg Hope that helps reduce the phone calls for you folks. Disease Posted November 6, 2017 Posted November 6, 2017 Is the issue fixed in this update where it is not correctly ignoring phrases that are more than one word?
Al_NetSupport Posted November 6, 2017 Author Posted November 6, 2017 Is the issue fixed in this update where it is not correctly ignoring phrases that are more than one word? Hi @Disease, if you don't mind, you may need to PM some more info on this and a contact number so we can follow up. I am not aware of this specific issue, but i am sure you have something in mind having raised it, so i'd be keen to understand more and check to ensure if there is/was a problem its been on the radar and addressed.
