Frazer Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 (edited) We recently started looking into YouTube with G Suite. One of the minor irritations was the lack of youtube.google.com/a/domain/ URL for SSO. I have discovered this URL which appears to work for us (ADFS 5.0/2019)- replace the domain after /a/ with your school federated domain https://www.google.com/a/your.domain.sch.uk/ServiceLogin?service=wise&passive=1209600&continue=https://www.youtube.com&followup=https://www.youtube.com/&faa=1 Hope that helps EDIT: how do you deal with students making use of 'create channel' 'go live' 'upload video' etc? Do you encourage? block at the firewall? Edited November 11, 2019 by Frazer

Do you encourage? block at the firewall? Wow, never realised GSuite student accounts could upload videos/broadcast live, that's insane, and no way to disable in GSuite. Does require sms confirmation but that's pretty easy. Have to block youtube.com/create_channel studio.youtube.com and youtube.com/upload I guess, but that doesn't help from home using school accounts.
