Fresh HAP V10 Installation on Server 2019 - Error 404.3

I finally had some time this morning to give this a go. Within an hour of starting (including installing Server 2019) I had a working HAP server. Excellent work, thank you so much.

Followed the guide today to the end, but after I’ve edited the file for the last time I just get a 500 error loading the home page....

 

Anyone know what I’ve coked up?

it *might* be permissions on the file in the HAP folders or you've taken too much out the xml file. Edited March 24, 2020 by timbo343

Prob B, wasn’t 100% sure about the bit in red at the end so took a guess.... will have a proper look in the morning and use a screen bigger than my iPad to set it up

ah, using an ipad wont be best. You can use it without editing the last xml when testing.

Using an iPad on a remote session which then had a remote session to the server open was an even worse idea

nah your not, just decided to do it on a smaller screen. At least you got it working . No worries and i'm glad to help.

One other change I made was to add .pdf as a recognized file type in MyFiles by editing hapconfig.xml and adding an extra line to the filters section
