About Ailsa-Midge

  1. Thank you. That's what I would like to do, but I think we have now come to an agreement when we MAY pay for a basic package, or not pay at all. We've not paid them yet. But, regardless Accessit is ordered. Can't wait.
  2. I have spoken to Capita to ask how much it would be to pay for the cheapest, most basic package instead (£545) and am currently trying to sort out with our budget holders to pay this and then we'll just not use it. I'm hoping to order AccessIt and can't wait. I'll need to look on the £545 as a penalty charge for not giving the full notice I suppose. If it was me I'd just not pay it but I don't think SLT will agree this.
  3. I would flee if I could but only gave 50 day's notice instead of the required 90! It's so awful though I might just not pay.
  4. Don't move to Eclipse. It is truly awful. So slow. Loses data. Unless you like watching the spinner whirring around for ages!
  5. So, I only gave 50 days notice to leave Capita instead of the required 90 and despite offering to pay a penalty I am now locked in to another year. However, the problems are such that I don't think the system is fit for purpose. For example, just had two days when I only had some data in Circulate and not all the data. I often have no data at all when searching the catalogue. The stock checking module wasn't working for weeks. It's not easily compatible with Bromcom and there are problems every year adding new borrowers. I don't have any student photo's uploaded. Network Services hate it. And every week I have issues with just watching the spinner whirring around and unable to do anything. I have errors logging in. It is truly awful. I am currently sitting on payment as I have told them I am just not paying for something that often doesn't work. I want to move to AccessIt. Anyone else have the same issues or any advice? Thanks
