  1. Hi David, Looking at this now for you. Thanks for making me aware!
  2. @ghanel The lookup will look at the domain, it does the same for Atomwide.com for example. I know we have CNAME and A records, for www and webmail etc. This will only return the entries for that domain, treating www. differently. Even with dig, CNAME records can't be reported back with a domain query. The only reliable way is zone transfer or using the AXFR option within a dig, but that's really old and probably not allowed by any DNS authority these days. Having a read only view of all records is the fastest and easiest way to assist, no doubt. If you need something urgently however, feel free to contact me via support.
  3. Hi, As @ghanel has suggested, please do throw some reasoning our way! By all means, we can provide you with a copy of the current zone file in a screen dump to assist, but having a read only view of your DNS records when no one is around could be helpful.
  4. As in you have authed and just used the machine, its then just forgotten who you are? There is a timeout, however it is not for AD accounts, purely USO. I'd be keen to see whats happening here from your end. That should not matter, essentially all we do is accept username you send and add it to the IP address you are coming from in the database. Ideally, I'd need a support case, as you can hopefully understand I need to account for my working etc, I am more than happy to look into it further with you but from a support perspective, I can only do so much here before I cross the line
  5. Would you be able to share what you did differently? The testing I performed was through AD script for login (.exe and .bat in Netlogon naturally) and GPO to enforce logoff (using the show files + paste .exe and.bat into the specific script folder.) This appears to work from our end, but keen to know how you did this so we can advise if schools have issues.
  6. That should be resolved, feel free to test and provide any feedback! Shiny indeed!
  7. That is indeed the case, it's a full revamp and changes based on feedback. I/we can't wait to get some feedback on it.
  8. Just to add to this, I am always happy to assist with captures in a support case / direct call. Also if you are struggling regarding filtering and finding out what is stopping you, please call in and ask for me. Anyone can help however, our core team will always try to assist where they can. In an ideal world, I'd love you guys to use RAv3, I agree the Java stuff is really bad and not supported anymore by browsers, but the HTML5 environment is worlds apart. My only personal (as in not the view of all Atomwide) concern with category 2 is that you now enable users to connect to their home machines using Teamviewer bypassing all filtering in place unless this is locked down.
  9. I should mention that from a work perspective, I obviously can't provide assistance on here as we do have processes in place for support but I will be there from Atomwide to assist on any queries you may have, predominantly filtering/firewall but always happy to chat about any services and obviously feed those back too. Happy to listen to anything that you believe we could improve the tools that we give you, I like knowing that we need to look for a solution! Paddy, Atomwide.
