What server is it? Having been involved in IT brokerage for 10 years, I know I can still get drives for much older servers than 5 years! Yeah, they may not be new, but decent suppliers will always provide with some warranty. Save your cash and worry about it in 5 years time!

Plenty of choice out there currently, depending on whether you want all-flash, hybrid or stick with spinning disks. Fujitsu are good value at the moment although if you can get bid-pricing from someone such as Dell or HPE then these will also be competitive on price. Each manufacturer has it's merits, covering advantages such as ease-of-growth, management, etc. Are you bothered about sticking to HP? Plenty of choice out there currently, eg HP or Fujitsu. Do you have any thoughts as to whether you want to go flash or hybrid or stick with spinning disks? What management software do you currently use? And what are you using for backup?
