Hi, I know quite a few other SIMS users have done exactly the same as me. I have put the AQA Science Trilogy to have a grade set of 40 instead of 41, and it is greyed out on my Manage performance indicators. I wasn't told till results day that we were getting two grades, so I was very confused when what I thought would be a grade 7 came through as 77 Simple - ask SIMS to unlock it, as half of the grade sets are locked others are not. SIMS response - no you have to pay for it - well we pay you a lot already - plus we want access to your entire SIMS account. Alternatively I can delete all the results for this one and start again and put the results in by hand - er they are having a laugh. Even a SIMS trainer who came out to a colleague was surprised this was not unlocked and believed it should be Is it unreasonable to say to SIMS unlock these grade sets, its only me who goes into this part of the system or is it an access thing and someone with more access than me can unlock it.. Anyone out there with an easy solution as to how I can change my science grade set

Thank you, just installed it and tried it. Really good. Just need to sell it to my SENCO, who prefers word as they can put boxes in to plan their work. Still cannot get the student window to open on launch even though it is set, so must be a setting at my end. I will get my IT Guy when he has 5 minutes to check my computer settings. Looks really good. My students, work on a laptop, save their work to memory stick and bring to me to print. There will not be a problem with this will there? Just want to check all basis before I give it to a student to do work and then I can't print it. Thank you.

I have attached the configuration, had to cut and paste, sorry cannot see a way to add a file 60000 12 Calibri 0 255,255,255 57357 12 1 0,0,0 1 1 1 1 0 1 1 1 1 1 1 0 0 0 0 Calibri 0,0,0 1 0 3 Internal/Mocks;AQA;OCR;Pearson;WJEC 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 1 1 0 Churchdown School Academy 0 60 0 1 0 0 12 0 0 255,0,0 The burp occurs, when the student sends to print. Candidate information comes up, and if any of the boxes, such as candidate name, is left blank the programme freezes, the box greys out with error messages, but it is impossible to do anything else. Every time the mouse is clicked it burps or pings at me, and the only way out of the programme is to bring up the task master and stop the programme. Thank you

I have discovered a problem with it. If a student fails to fill in one of the boxes on the candidate information page it crashes everything, greys the box out and just burps at me everytime anything is pressed. The only way out is to stop the programme and start again. How do I fix this, or when it crashes recover everything without stressing the student. Also box for candidate information, despite being set to, does not launch when the programme is started. Thank you

I have installed the latest version of write pad - very new to all of this. When you go to save, it brings the student box up - if you forget to fill in any of the gaps the entire system crashes, and it cannot be retrieved. How to I recover the document so the student can add the correct information in. On the settings, we have asked it to bring up the candidate information box on launching the programme, it does not do this, despite being asked to. My IT technician has suggested I ask. Sorry if I have posted this on the wrong part of the system, very new to all of this, and want to sort out any problems before it is launched on the students. Thank you

Two questions on write pad. 1. How do I get the students details to come up so they fill these in before they start the exam. At the moment the box only opens when I press print. 2. in the written bit in the main file (Examwritepad v2.pdf) it shows a second tool bar at the top of the page. How do I get this to come up.
