Well I was way off with that one lol

Plenty Brain Dumps Mate!! You will be fine lol... Last Microsoft exam I took I noticed they have brought in a lot of simulation within the exam. Reminded me a bit of the CCNA exam but thankfully not as nearly impossible to do in the time they give you lol

I rarely take notice of scheduled release dates or speculation in the press, most of it is complete trash, plus Microsoft know exactly when the market is right to introduce a New OS... If I had to hazard a wild guess I will speculate that Windows 7 will be being shipped on New machines by Janurary 2011 at the earliest. Windows Vista will be five years old by then if I am not mistaken? The best thing to do is to Assume Nothing, Watch, wait and listen, I will always have time for any OS or any piece of software that Microsoft release; when it is released. I think that Microsoft have played the biggest role in revolutionising the world when it comes to desktop computing. We have gone through the first step in a technology revolution and Windows Vista and Windows 7 are examples of which direction the technology is advancing. For some people including some technical people I have worked with Microsoft are dammed if they do and they are dammed if they don't. The thing is if it were any other company who were developing the most popular and succesful operating system on planet Earth for example Sun Microsystem or Apple.... They would also be dammed if they do and Dammed if they don't. Simon MCP

In my experience of New Microsoft Operating Systems, it is always better to hold judgment over them until (A) They are released and (B) had two years to mature.. If I think my way back to 2001, 2002 and 2003 The same loud mouth Luddites were calling Windows XP worse than trash telling everyone not to touch it even with someone Else's PC.. Then suddenly it is the Best OS on the planet. The only "downfall" Windows Vista really has is its security, Yet ironically in the modern world its the one thing that desktop users need. For instance I have a lady friend I know who has two teenage daughters, over the last couple of years I have had to go around her place and RE-IMAGE her PC about once every three months because her daughters have blitzed the machine with everything under the sun. Even with Norton 360 on it. She bought a New System in August running Windows Vista Home Premium and I have not heard from her once. The way I see it; Microsoft are the ones developing and innovating the software not me; I am in no position to critic any piece of software of theirs for its shortcomings as I am no where near clever enough to develop something like Windows Vista or Ms Office 2007. All New things need to time to develop and open new potential for Computer users. Simon MCP

Two problems I am finding with these machines is - .They have intermittent problems connecting to WIFI. Windows Vista Laptops in the same School are connecting fine to the same APs .Cant find a driver for the schools Epson Aculaser CX11N printer; tried installing similar drivers that come bundled with the OS, no luck.
