  1. This looks good , thanks! We're testing at the moment but our exams officer seems pleased with it, so its passed a pretty stern test there! I see you are a Google user (at least you use Google Drive to host the app for downloads) and wondered if you'd considered creating a Chrome App version of Exam Writepad? We would love to make use of the kiosk function with our Chromebooks to run an app like this for written exams. Here's hoping ;-)
  2. https://support.google.com/a/answer/7491144?hl=en Known issues You can't currently duplicate Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides. If you have edit access for a Team Drive (or any files shared within a Team Drive), you can currently only view these files in Drive File Stream. To edit the files, you must access them in Drive on the web.
  3. I know its an old thread but have you considered PDQ deploy by Admin Arsenal? We have impero too but chose not to go with patch management as the pro subscription is cheap for one admin and they package updates for java, flash, silverlight (and many more) etc. The packaged deployments have built in registry settings for turning off auto update features, removing shortcuts and various other things and their support and guides are great. You can also set up schedules to check certain groups of computers which will push out missing updates. It also ties to Spiceworks inventory to get computers groups etc. You can also create your own packages for msi and exe files or use it to distribute files etc. I've been using it for 18 months and its great. All of the above software is left out of our images and we have a nested package that we fire at newly imaged machines that installs all updates and additional software. I'd recommend the free trial if you;ve not used it (and no I don't work for them!) ;-)
  4. Here's the link to the help pages. https://support.google.com/a/topic/6039552?hl=en&ref_topic=4511280 As with rob_coles we've been using GADS for 3 years with no issues. It took a bit of testing to set up the initial rules, there's lots of help out there, and its been working seamlessly. The school Directory Sync uses a csv export rather than direct integration with the school management system, so as long as you can get the info out of your system it should work fine.
