  1. Thanks for the info. I'm still on the case with this one and hoping for some action from Sahara. Can you tell me when you bought the three screens and what type / size they are? (Serial numbers?). I am of the opinion the 'phantom touch' problem is due to fault with screens. The similarity of the problems with our two screens, bought at the same time, with the almost exactly the same symptoms is beyond coincidence!
  2. Thanks for the info, any details will be of use - e.g. is this a common problem with these boards?
  3. Yes - I've tried that - connecting a different PC (laptop direct USB) it solves the problem temporarily, just like when I re-set / re-connect main PC but the phantom touch returns! Thanks for your suggestion and others - I'll keep trying anything that might work to attempt to get these two screens back in working order - like they were when we first bought them. It's a bit like having a new car then after a couple of years the reverse not working for no apparent reason.
  4. Been down that track already. Tried new 3m high quality USB direct to PC from screen, this works OK for a short time (about two / three hours) but phantom touch then returns. Also looked for possible sources of 'interference' and re-routed USB in case of cross signal but all to no avail. Also cleaned board, updated software, restore defaults and anything else I can think off. Temporary the problem goes away but returns in a day or so at random. I suspect it could be a fault in the screen but am interested to learn if anyone else has similar problem with these screens. - 65" 'Clevertouch' Sahara Product code - 1545005AG - I think! Any suggestions welcome.
  5. Thanks for the reply. I've had similar problems with clutter around the screen (including Christmas decorations!) This problem appears to be related to the actual touch function - possibly the LEDs around the screen edge. We have to disconnect the touch facility (take out the USB connection) to be able to use the screens.
  6. Has anyone experienced phantom touch on an interactive touch-screen? When using the screen the mouse pointer either moves by itself or folders open or mouse pointer moves to bottom of screen as if a phantom touch is being made on the screen. We have two 65" Sahara touch screens which display this problem at random times, very frustrating and so far not been able to fix it.
  7. We have same problem with two Sahara 65" touchscreens with 'phantom' touch and mouse pointer going to bottom left corner of screen. Did you get a solution or any joy from Sahara?
