We've been asked by our new headteacher & governors to look into selling our Sun Ray 270's and replacing them with fat client pc's. We've argued against this for some time now but it's come down to the poor reception from our staff and students and now the power at be wants to replace them. My question is, is there a route or facility that I can sell these Sun Ray 270's? (~150) Much appreciated.

Thanks for replying, I have this set up so there are no restrictions on the media types, it's that the drives will not show on the desktop if the option for "simple finder" is used in WGM > Finder.

Hello there people, I am in the process of setting up some mac suites, using 10.6.4 on the clients + server while bound to OD + AD. One thing that is bothering me though is that the students and teachers need to have access to USB drives via desktop, to allow this, one needs to have the finder set to "normal" in WGM > Preferences > Finder. Only problem is that this allows student's to use the Finder and browse network shares and access places where they shouldn't. My question is - is it possible to use the "simple" Finder option while allowing external devices to show on the desktop? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am also interested in Network Analyzer Software Standard Edition but can't seem to find it, does anyone link me to it or send?
