Working on a Viglen PC, 6th gen Intel i7, 16Gb Ram, 120Gb SSD, 2TB HDD. It does triple monitor setup with the on board graphics just fine. Mainly just want new machine to sell to fund a new chair or welding station to fix my chair. Already a hand me down from the head to replace my previously broken chair.

WHY!!!!! Enabling roaming profiles has never worked before, now working perfectly! Had originally tried that but wasn't working so that's why was using the redirect to begin with. I blame Microsoft, If Edge was any good we wouldn't be using Chrome in the first place. Thanks for that.

Has anyone managed to redirect user data to anywhere other than a network share? Have this working going to a folder in users documents but getting complaints that they can now only open one instance of Chrome per logon, i have told them just to close Chrome or logoff when leaving an office to go to classroom but am meeting resistance from some forgetful users. As such i have tried to redirect to a folder within their local "roaming" profile so the computer instance will be on the local drive but when logging off will be synced to their profile (I know could lose some setting being logged on in two places but anything for a quiet life) This is taking effect but when opening chrome is erroring saying it can't read or write to its data directory. looked at all permissions but still no luck. If not will just have to get them better trained, or go back to no saved bookmarks etc.

We get this error too, never got to the bottom of why, it does save the change (usually just applying the correct ad username that all i do in it) just get that error then close saying no to save and refresh and my change shows. Would love to get rid of it so will watch the thread with interest.

Hack it, or have someone over on reddit hack it for you. I am on my second batch of donuts (10000 first hack, 50000 second time) but only have 10mil cash as didn't change that this time Other than that if you are not bothered about having a pretty town the just build loads of houses to collect from, soon builds up.

The game crashed a lot on ipad 1st gen, but since upgraded to 4th gen not had a problem on mine or anyone's Springfield till now Just hope that a) I get it back working soon, want to play new level and b) I get it back with all my (very large quantity of) donuts still intact (yes I cheated the game when it was available) Needless to say b) is what I am most worried about, not sure what would happen if they spot that when fixing my game

So logged a problem with ea, got the response back to post details in a message board thread, did that this morning around 11am. I am on page 135 of the thread, just checked it now and it's up to page 154. Lots of people screwed by the latest update. Makes me wonder if the reason we got an additional week of snow was they knew they had a problem! To those of you who are managing to play the game, enjoy the new items/characters of level 38, hope to join you soon. Just to note, those of you who are my neighbour (jvogel2012) don't try and visit me, will crash your game too apparently.

I got all the personal items before christmas, then the rest as they were given. Still can't get back in to see them though!!!!!!!!

Anybody having trouble with the new update? I get it installed, log back into origin then the game crashes and goes back to ios home screen. Uninstalled completely, rebooted ipad, installed fresh and does same thing. Even tried downloading bluestacks on pc and trying it on there get same result. Few people on the ea forums complaing about it

I think that is usually just to do with your friends not having updated yet, once they get on and update to "christmas" and start to play you should be able to give gifts out. I had quite a few last night where did not have the option to give them out whereas others were fine. Not that I had many to give out like, seem to be slow on dropping gift bags.

Gremlins earn you 4 goo per gremlin if the gremlin remains in friends town for 4 hours without getting squashed. If gremlins are squashed then you earn 2 goo and friend earns 2 goo per gremlin. Oh and jvogel2012 if anyone wants to add.

Not sure how well it works for XP but we have used ma-config.com to get windows 7 drivers for our older PC's Will detect the hardware and link any relevant drivers for download.

I was having the same issue earlier. Seems to have cleared up now though. My definitions were updated at 15:30 so that may have fixed it.

We have a 2 NAS boxes which have sadly both broken however the drives containing the data are fine. We have them connected to a pc and are going to try to recover the data with data recovery tools which will obviously take a long time (2TB data). We know the RAID parameters of how it was set up, if we created a new RAID array using the Pc's onboard RAID controller (will be different controller to that in the NAS boxes) will that lose us the existing array and data or would it make the drive readable under Windows/Linux. This would save us a vast amount of time in sanning for recovery. Don't expect it to be possible but thought it would be worth asking on here.

I agree that it is a case of classroom management and nobody has asked me to remove it. I was just wondering if it could be done so I can help staff out as it is something that is not needed.
