Hopefully help on a few bits. But from an issue we had I'd found this which says that Flash disables itself so may appear but may not be active? https://www.windowslatest.com/2020/12/27/adobe-flash-player-is-about-to-stop-working-on-windows-10/ Then you do have to sign in to use the latest version either Google or MS although this provides no real functionality except for a few emails about the features that you are missing out on. Its worth noting that each user on the computer will have to sign in.

We use fresh desk (the free version at the moment) but I would certainly pay if we had a bigger team. So easy to see what needs doing and so easy to reply (canned responses etc) and you can build your knowledge base there too. I know there are others that do similar to we tried spice works but found this the best option for us. We manage our secondary (1600 students) plus 4 primaries that pay us for support.

I can agree with this as ours failed last week in the high temperatures overnight with no one on site. Only to be fixed then next day and fail again and a portable unit also brought in failing overnight! So to have the two units gives you the best chance if things do take a turn for the worst.

We had issues with smart notebook across our sites various errors and boards misbehaving and fixed it by using smart notebook 19. Free to use as long as you have smart boards.
