  1. Hi Guys, For those of you using ubiquiti ...a few questions 1) How do you do your content filtering - We have a hosted lightspeed system at our ISP (schools broadband) 2) We will have Staff / Students / Guest SSIDs which will need different filter policies 3) We only allow 6th form students to have WIFI access, how do you handle this ? (guest tokens) Thanks in advance rob
  2. We are trialing Senso now .. Pleased with it so far, its not the complete package now .. for example I find examining the log files for a student a bit hard to do but they have listened and taken our ideas on board along with several others ... love the way its cloud based and not restricted. They are playing catch up for sure ... and Impero have taken their eye off the ball too ...
  3. So I take it that there are no significant ongoing costs for UBI AP ....
  4. Hi, thanks for your reply ... are there any ongoing costs ? can you provide any details ?
  5. Hi All, Very short story .. we have Aerohive wireless solution that is now 3-4 years old. Its must have been a 3 year deal as we now have been hit with an £8k bill for a 12 months license renewal for 56 APs. We are kicking back on this of course. The question is what are you all using as its seems to us we could almost replace our whole AP network with another vendor and have reduced costs going forward. Who are you using and what are you ongoing costs. Thanks
  6. Hi, Thanks for your reply, Saving to a local drive is impossible .. saving anywhere is not possible. Share permissions are OK (I think) as we can same an empty powerpoint at fist login and also create a text file at any time is the redirected folders. Accounts that work are for sure are any roaming profiles. So .. at the moment we are looking at profiles ... for no particular reason other that narrowing down the issue.
  7. Hi, just started work in a secondary school and the have the following problem. When saving a Powerpoint document to a redirected student folder we get the following error This only happens when the document has data in it. For example if login with a student ID and the open PowerPoint straight away and immediately save an empty powerpoint the issue goes away completely. Whatever we do on a powerpoint document that has not been saved as a empty document first becomes impossible to save in anyway. Background info. All PCs are windows 10 Server is 2012 All folders are redirected for all students.
