Hi there We are looking at buying 10 easi-view visualisers. I found them in a mag priced at £74.99 but when I looked online I came across a website called easi-view.org.uk. If you order 8 or more the price is reduced to £65.99. However, the website doesn't give much info out about the company and I wondered if anyone had dealt with them - are they reputable? Hi there Can anyone help me? I have a couple of problems - firstly, we have a laptop in school that doesn't allow annotating on the IWB unless using Smart notebook. You cannot write on Word/PowerPoint/Excel docs or anything else. All other laptops in school are ok and trying a different laptop with the whiteboard sorts this. It must be a setting on the laptop but I don't know what - we tried installing the Smart Aware toolbar but this made no difference. Also, on another laptop/IWB, you can write and tap on things and IWB is interactive but you cannot drag pictures, etc. Any ideas? Many thanks ClaireJoanne

Hi there We are using the Viglen Classlink sysem on our network and I have an issue with icons not being placed in the taskbar when logging on as a student. I have recently installed Smart Notebook 10 in our IT suite and when staff log on they are able to hide the annoying floating toolbar by right-clicking on the icon in the taskbar. When students log on, they do not have the icon and so cannot get rid of the floating toolbar. Viglen say they don't know what to do but they must have written something into their software that prevents icons showing in the student taskbar! I would also like to put the volume icon in the taskbar for students as well. Anyone else using this system? Do you know what I need to do? Thanks Claire

Another school has bought one and we are thinking of getting one - I just need some quotes. However, I haven't seen theirs (only a photo!) and these are the only details I have plus it is a Smart board flat panel display for PX350 (not sure what this means) Regards

Hi there I wonder if anyone can help me. I have received the following quote from a company for installing and supplying 11 projectors to replace the ones we currently. I need 3 quotes to show to our school governors before they will make a decision. Could anybody provide me with a comparable quote? I appreciate that a site survey would be required for a completely accurate quote but as time is short I wondered if anyone could quote without this (the company we have received the quote from have not visited) - we realise there amy be a slight difference in the costs. Hi there We are looking to upgrade our projectors that we use in class with IWB's. The images don't seem to be as sharp/bright as they could be. I don't know much about projectors but I understand we can get some with a better resolution (XGA?) The ones we have now are NEC VT37's - I think the resolution is VGA. We've had these about 4 years. Can anyone recommend anything to me - plus prices and where to get them? We need 12. Many thanks Claire

Hi there We have a new printer - HP Color LaserJet CP2025dn - and the colours printed out don't seem to correspond to what's on the screen. Some pictures are really bright - should we just alter a setting when we are printing out? Photos print our really dark - you can't always make out the image clearly. Anyone know how I can change this? Cheers Claire

Hi there We have a new HP Color LaserJet CP2025 which was printing fine for a few days but now there is an issue with printing some docs. Not all are affected but some are printing out as gibberish - they look fine on screen but print out as symbols ($%!"). Is there a setting that needs changing? Thanks

Hi there I am wanting to buy a laser printer for our primary school and wonder if anyone can recommend a good model. It is to be our main printer in school, used by all pupils and staff. The one we currently use is a Minolta Magicolor and I guess we output about 50-75 pages a day. I was thinking in the price region of £350-400. Any ideas? Cheers
