Afternoon all looking for advice/peoples experiences of rolling out IPads in schools. Ive got Apple School Manager setup and devices appearing and I have a trial set up with JAMF again devices all appearing fine. DEP and VPP are all set up and when I use my phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot the configuration profiles all set up fine. However as soon as I add the devices to our network which sits behind a Smoothwall proxy nothing works. If I bypass the proxy manually on the device communication with JAMF works again so problem lies with smoothwall settings it seems. We use Kerberos authentication as NTLM has caused us other issues in the past. As I understand it Apple does not support Kerberos therefore I am struggling to move forward with my trial. Does anyone manage I pads behind smoothwall using JAMF? If so are you able to share your knowledge? One other issue I've got is that App installations keep prompting for I Tunes logins in order to install. I'm sure I've got it set to device assignment in JAMF and not user assignment. Anyone seen this before. We are waiting to hear back from Smoothwall for advice, however any tips shared here would be great as well. Kind regards

Yeah the verification process has all taken place. My boss got a call from Apple who said it was all fine. Got a meeting today with Apple though so might get a bit further. Cheers for the reply though :-)

Despite my application being accepted by Apple my status is still saying Apple will email me with the next step. This has been since early June. How long did ebveryone else have to wait for instructions on how to proceed from Apple? I contacted their support who have said to go down the DEP and VPP route. Any summary of everyones School Manager experience when enrolling would be great. Cheers guys

I've been wrestling with the apple school manager website for weeks and have finally been verified! Will keep my eyes posted on this thread cheers.
