I ran across the same problem with one of my users, but with Word 2003, not Excel. All other applications printed one copy, only Word printed two. It only happened on one PC. No matter which document, no matter how large or small. Printer is a Lexmark T632. I am still unsure how or why it occurred, but I was able to resolve it. I brought up any Word document and went to: HELP menu Detect and Repair Selected only "Discard my customized settings and restore my default settings" (it will require you to close the application) Ran the installer. I wish I knew why it happened, but problem solved. Doesn't smell like a driver error, perhaps a registry glitch? I did notice that the installer program removed and re-added some regristry entries.
