Hi I map the drive using the setup.aspx configuration screen. I am only testing with one user however that user appears in the KEC Staff group in AD. Using the configuration screen if I add KED Teaching Staff to the groups allowed to view the drive then it becomes visible, if I only have KEC STaff then it is not visible at all.

Hi I am trying to map a new drive for a small group of staff but the drive is not appearing. It must be to do with the security groups in AD but I am really confused as to why it is not appearing. I have the KED Teaching Staff and KED Non-Teaching Staff groups and if I add these to the groups who can read/write etc.. they work fine and the drive appears. I do not want these groups to access the drive though so I have a different security group called KEC staff. I choose this group successful in the setup configuration for my new drive mapping but the drive does not appear. Any suggestions please? Thanks

Hi I have installed and have runing the system so thank you for the assistance in achieving this. Thanks again to Nick for a fabulous product. In the short term I would like to be able to logon and go directly to the My Computer screen rather than have any of the other options available. I did this before with one of the older versions but I am afraid I am struggling to work out how I can achieve this in the new version. Is this possible? Any help would be much appreciated. I would like to have the logon screen as at present and then go directly to mycomputer.aspx. Thanks Carolyn

Hi Presumably this version is not reliant in any way on easylink so I could install onto a member server as long as I created a new external dns mapping to that server ie HAP.kes.org.uk? Would you recommend doing it like this? Thanks

Hi I have tried the cacls command as described thanks and it sets permissions on the HAP folder but the HAP user is not shown anywhere lower down in the structure. I also had the original issue where I do not get the option to see user, group.. in the object type.
