Perhaps for the first time I couldn't find my answer on edugeek already, so here goes my first post!
Managed to get Profile Manager all setup and working, and successfully managing our school's 90 iPads. Much better than using configurator on a single Mac, but then that really wasn't a high standard to beat. However in my using it I seem to have hit a brick wall on a couple of things..
1. Is there really no way to export/copy anything out of Profile Manager? I can't seem to find any options for exporting device lists, apps on devices, etc. and I can't even select them to copy+paste. I'd ideally like a device list for the asset register and an app list to share with our IT Curriculum Lead. The only way I've found from my searching is going into the database and exporting it, if need be I can do that but if anyone has the queries already I'd be forever grateful!
2. When configuring Home Screen Layouts is it really meant to jump back all the way to the top after every single change, including just clicking the add app/folder button? Does anyone know how to turn this off/workaround it? It makes it take 3x as long to setup when you have a long list of apps and folders. I can't believe this is a "feature" and not a bug but it happens in both Chrome and Safari.
3. Is there any way to set profile precedence?
