Hello, Sorry about the delay as i was away. Thanks for that i will give it a go once i get past the config errors. I was wondering if you could help me as i'm still stuck in the same hole. Hello, Is there anyway i can change the home access plus front page logo to my school logo? and which section do i have to remove from the web.config file for iis 8? It would be helpful if someone could print screen and highlight it for me as i get easily confused what is what. Thx

I think i will be fine. The school has its own public domain and ssl certificate. I think it is just a case of doing a bit of testing to make sure it will work.

ahh i see, have you tried it in http to see if you are getting same errors? I have an ssl certificate for our school domain so i can just install that on iis and i can create the A record in dns on our dc. Also how did you set up the address? Thx

The errors appear in http but i haven't tried it in https as it keeps saying "refusing to connect" when doing local host and through the ip, is this due to me not having an ssl certificate? At this stage i just want to test to see if it works. So if i ran it in https, will the issues (above) dissapear? Thanks

Hi Guys, After installing it on 2012 and refreshed the app pool and the web config file it is still not working. It is now asking me to do something else (see error message). Is this normal? Have i missed something? Its starting to get to me! Update...... After removing the script highlighted in red above it now says there is an authentication issue. Any ideas? Thanks

This will be for use in school but yes i am just testing. The school has its own ssl certificate but the real question is how will i be able to make people be able to access the server/hap externally on a web address? what steps will i need to do in order to create such a web address so people can us it at home?
