Sorry to jump on the thread, but has anyone got any idea on how to do this with the approval going to a specific person depending on who submits the form? I am looking at making something very similar in power apps but the approval will go to each persons line manager, which varies across the school. I know it most likely involves lists but I haven't worked with lists yet. I am also looking for a way to display the remaining allocation to the person before they book, and reset this each September but this is a step to put in later on.

What age are the kids you work with? On a much smaller/cheaper scale we have a flight case with 32 plastic Google Cardboard headsets, 32 phones and a tablet to run Google Expeditions on in a high school. We do not use it nearly as much as I would like however when it is used it really engages kids. Google have a huge range of expeditions available across the curriculum and I know you can also run games and other apps with this set up, we have just never gone beyond using the Expeditions app. Here is a list of expeditions which are available which is possibly not entirely complete but this is where we direct teachers when they are looking for something specific.

Looking for some advice for a dyslexic student - last year the student was brought an e-pen to help her in lessons and we are now looking at buying something to record more of her lessons and something to allow her to also use audio books and internet for research. The request from the member of staff was 'iPad or similar'. I am thinking something which can record clearly, possibly take notes by voice and read back, colour filter for the device to help her reading/researching. What have you found to be most useful for dyslexic students? Any particular device, apps or services which you would recommend?

We use Frog - Its getting better since Frog 3, obviously some things are not ideal but you could get that in any system. Our staff are happy with it - Every department has a site, I would say about half of our departments actively use their site/assignments/quizzes to teach with regularly, one or 2 have a site for their department but barely use it, but they barely use computers anyway so that's them not Frog with the issues. We use it through Frog, I can't remember the figures but our Head of ICT worked out last GCSE results that the students who were higher up on the usage board for GCSE Pod got higher results in those subjects. Students seem to like it, easy to use just a link in Frog and they are asked to create a password to use with the app - The app is great idea, meaning they can listen to it anywhere.
