  1. Thanks for this. It makes sense as I've already created marksheets for read only data to insert into reports so it's along the same principle.
  2. Hi You could create nested if then else formulae in each template for each aspect that you want to be colour coded in the marksheets and in the Individual Report. Remember to have the colour reflected in the original aspect cell the staff enter data in by 'also colour this column' If your result sets are by term and year group then you can clone the first completed template for a subject and change each result set either invidually or if there are a number of aspects in each term shift and select them e.g. 'Term1' and use replace. Hope this helps
  3. Hi there everyone, The school I am at would like number of exclusions on termly Individual reports. I can't see how to include exclusions data in an Individual Report, it is not under add ins or student details. Is there a way of doing this? I know sometimes there are difficulties with reading data that is under reporting but not necessarily in a format that AM7 will use. Thanks in advance for any help and advice
  4. When I open an individual report Word template in assessment manager all I get is a word document, there is no way to insert results. I have looked in Word options (the school is using Word 2007 which I know is no longer supported by Capita) but there is no choice other than a normal word template to use under Add Ins and manage. Can anyone help before? I appreciate its the end of term though!
  5. I will try that as well, thanks
  6. I'm only able to timetable one blanking code to a derived group called 'All' which is all students . When I block it only lets me block one lesson and doesn't offer the ability to break the one lesson per day rule. I think in Sims a tick can be taken away under curriculum management by scheme, I shall check and see. Thanks a lot for the help.
  7. Many thanks this has worked for the staff clashes. Is there any way of using blanking codes in the mode section to blank out lessons 6 and 7 on a Friday for students only or do I do this another way?
  8. We need to have one member of staff be timetabled into two lessons at the same time as they float between the two. Is this possible in novat6? I get a clash message but can't seem to find the section where I can unlock or break a rule for staff clashes. I also need to have students leave after lunch on one day of the week, I put in blanking codes in the model section but can't relax the one per day rule to assign them to Friday lesson 6 and 7, can this be done?
  9. Great thanks this has worked
  10. I'm just about to set up a new cycle (we've never timetabled in novat6). Our breakfast club lasts 20 minutes and lessons last 40 minutes. There is a soft break and a medium lunch break. Given the cycle works on each period lasting the same length of time does anyone know how I should create the shorter breakfast club as visible on staff and student timetables 5 days per week?
  11. Thanks everyone this is now working fine. Does anyone know if a template is cloned does the nested if then formulae automatically work? My aspects are not in years but are subject e.g. Engprog, the result sets are by year and half term. If I set up a template for y8 English and then clone it to year 9 will my nested if then formulae work as they are not year group based?
  12. Hi Yes I shall capture a screen print of said grade set and nested if then formula if possible unless I can work it out tomorrow, thanks
  13. Hi Does anyone know if the ks3 PoS marksheets are available from SIMS and if they have made them configurable? If they are editable has anyone tried adapting them for KS4?
  14. Thanks for replying, yes I have used conditional formatting when the marksheets has been exported but I believe it is possible to do by setting up a nested if then formula within the template. My aspect is 'y7engprog', the grade set is 'progress' which has 3 values - below, good, outstanding. I have assigned nominal values of 3, 7 and 9 and one grade of 'B' to below. Do I have to assign grades to all of the grade set ie the first letter of the word so that the 'if' part of the formula can = that letter then the cell containing the aspect can change colour. So if the constant/value = B then y7engprog cell turns red on entry and on save? Sorry if this isn't clear!
  15. Hi The school I am working for has mastery based grade sets it wants to use in marksheets. i have set up the grade sets that are mastery skills based e.g. Developing, secure, exceeding etc and attached a nominal value to each 'grade'. However, when I set up a nested if then formula using 'data for review using formula' then enter some data it doesn't change colour. I set a value of 3 for 'poor' in the grade set and use that as the constant/value in the nested formula so if 'y7engprog' is the aspect and the value in the cell is 3 then it turns the cell red. I've tried it using the word 'poor' as the constant/value, that doesn't work either. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, Caro
