We've just had a similar issue with these machines. Opened fresh out of box we were getting no display and no POST bleeps (Using just a monitor and nothing else). After a good deal of grunting, swearing and kicking. We have determined that using the DVI output with a VGA converter was the issue. Plugging in an actual DVI Cable to a DVI Monitor seems to have solved the issue! How awkward is that!!

Spent half an hour watching Andy trying to build a device to help him catch Pokémon on the Pokémon Go App! The attempt ultimately failed!!!
