Hi everyone, Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I've just found it! I'm the MD of the company that makes ParentEve, so I'll be happy to try to get things working for you. Firstly, export to CSV is a standard feature, and ParentEve lets you export in a way that you can do mailmerge if that works for you. If that would be what you're looking for, I can help you set that up. Secondly, you're right that at the moment ParentEve assumes an unencrypted port 25 SMTP server for sending emails. If not having TLS support is a deal-breaker for you then we can look at putting it in for you. If you can test it against your system for us we'd be quite happy to let you have a year's free usage in return. Please get in touch, we obviously would love you to continue using our software if at all possible. I was replying to Sippo, not to Diello! I had a chat with Diello privately and I believe we've fixed the specific problem he was having with the software. I was recommending the latest version to Sippo - the one that has the "carp" removed

Sorry for replying late to this thread but one tool we've found essential for C/C++ development on Linux is Valgrind. It's very good at finding memory leaks, use of uninitialised memory and other fun bugs at runtime. All our software is developed on Debian Stable and then ported to Windows for release when it passes Valgrind. I've not found anything similar for free on Windows so give it a look; if your program is of any significant size it can be a real lifesaver.

I'd be interested to know how we can improve the program to make it less of a pain for you to use.
