1. If you purchased SG appliance it will be with the SG software. There are already XG boxes available with the XG software. As i said above, when they stop developing the SG(probably in 2 or 3 years) all of us will be able to lead the XG software on the SG appliances. All of that is as per Sophos words.... Also another thing which I was advised. all of the Cyberoam appliances could be loaded with the Sophos software hope that the above make sense. cheers George

 3. We received an email from Bloxx when the acquisition was done and letting us know. You should receive that email. As far as i am aware it was sent out to all Bloxx customers and Partners. I didn't pay any attention to it but was contacted by our reseller.
 4. Hi guys, Please be advised that the SG series comes with the SG software, however there is a rumor that at some point Sophos will stop developing that. At some point there will be a migration path to XG software. On the other hand the XG appliances comes with the new software. As those appliances are mixture of Sophos and Cyberoam(Sophos acquired them 2 years ago) features. They are still developing the software for the XG appliances and as Blue_Cookeh advised it's not so good as the SG at the moment. If you have any further questions please pop me a PM. Please note that probably the Sophos UTMs are the easiest to managed and installed. have a great weekend cheers George
 5. Hi Talksr, Emdrum is right, i totally agree with him. If you are interested send me a PM and will pass your details to that guy.
 6. Have you consider Buy out option..... it might be a bigger upfront payment but at least will have the perpetual licenses. That could be done at the end of your current agreement. Also that gives you automatically the latest version of the product which you are buying. Unfortunately that is only for the on premise licenses. There is no further information even from the Distribution about the Microsoft intension. It's too early at that stage.
 7. Also another thing to bear in mind, which might be quite useful:

DsktpEdu ALNG LicSAPk OLV E 1Y Acdmc Ent DsktpEdu ALNG LicSAPk OLV F 1Y Acdmc Ent According to you is there any difference? I will save you some time you see the 2 colored letters E and F correct? So that tiny difference will spare you the hassle ITGURU. That is the difference between 1 and 3 year agreement. Level E - 1 year agreement. Level F - 3 year agreement. The only difference between those is the annual cost, the difference is around 3pounds pre license.... So that could explain the great offer which you received......

8. Hi Guys, I would like to jump into that as well. I am AM and work for one of the Microsoft Partners. So i could confirm that is possible to reduce the number of users with the amount which you need! That is a trick done from one of the resellers in order to maintain the margin, without providing the customer with relevant information! I could say one thing - you could play around with the licenses the way you would like... of course there are some exceptions as the Desktop CaLs should meet the amount of the Office 365 for stuff(if used). if you need any further information please let me know. have a great day.
