  1. I have a BYOD wifi with captive portal using Radius on my Meru Controller. Once a user is signed in they show up in the Station Table with full details of the MAC address etc. Does anyone know how I can kick a user off forcing them to re-authenticate? I tried putting a tick in the checkbox and clicking delete but it just reappears.
  2. All the machines are 64bit but the SSO client is a 32-bit application and has been setup to "Make this 32-bit X86 available on Win64 machines" I just tried to install it manually on one machine that has the issue and it takes very long and then it pops up with security alert saying it needs to download from the Internet. So it seems that the Windows 7 and 8 machines are missing some kind of prerequisites. Is there a way to find out what prerequisites are missing? and is there a way to bundle the prerequisites into the Group Policy deployment so that it checks if the prerequisites are installed and if not then install the prerequisites? Thanks
  3. I have software deployment policies in Group Policy. I have just downloaded WG-Authentication-Client_11_9_4.msi to deploy it using Group Policy. I created a Policy for the entire domain and under computer configuration I added the software installation. I created a share that gives read access to everyone. However, on my Windows 7 and 8 workstations the msi just does not seem to install. It however does install on the Windows 10 machines and server 2008 servers. Any idea what could be wrong?
  4. Thanks. I've had a look at my Watchguard and cannot seem to setup Watchguard as a Radius Server itself. But instead it allows me to connect to a Radius server just like the Meru does. So I don't think that will help. It's a real shame. Watchguard has a feature to force users to a login page which then authenticates with Active Directory or Radius (whichever is setup) However, seeing as my Meru is on a VLAN port of the watchguard the active directory user detection doesnt seem to work at all. My normal users on the LAN are forced to login but for VLAN users it doesnt work for some reason
  5. Thanks for that. I will give it a try tomorrow. My Radius server is Microsoft NPS. Quick question: When you say that on the Microsoft NPS server add the watchguard as a remote radius server, how do you mean? Because if I go into Watchguard I can add a Radius Server in watchguard which means I can pair watchguard with the NPS but if I am understanding correctly do you mean setup watchguard as a Radius Server? I dont think Watchguard can act as a Radius server but instead connect to a Radius server.
  6. We've been using Meru Capital Portal with Radius for some time now. However, I can only see the Authenticated User Name in the Meru UI when logged in. I have a WatchGuard firewall and wondering if there is any way to send the Authenticated User Name to the watchguard firewall? My WatchGuard firewall has a valid LDAP server.
