I can only say what is going on in Devon, who have just finished job evaluation. But the majority of network managers (where the job description says manager) have ended up on a G grade which is £27500 starting.

Its always best not to know staff passwords. I just tell everybody that I cannot see their passwords, the only thing I can do is reset them, and require them to change them at first logon.

I'm sure that this is covered somewhere...... I would like to prevent a specific group (students) from emailing to other members of that specific group. But I do want to allow them to email other groups such as Teachers etc. Does anybody have some ideas? :?:

Good old proxy.pac is the best script to get around school proxy settings at school, and not using them at home.

Since moving to our new PFI build school, we have stopped using Bromcom As a result of this we are in posession of a lot of Bromcom kit which is taking up storage space. Bromcom WiFi folders (unopened) 15 Samsung POE WAP's 3 Bromcom POE switches I will let this go as a job lot, and the end user/buyer is responsible for arranging pickup from Exeter. Hi all I'm looking for a software package that will produce reports on internet usage. For example if a member of staff thinks that little Johnny has been up to no good, then to create a report of sites visited by that particular user.
