Hi Is anyone having the following error. We have a number of year 13s who resat English language. There results shows as a ? In the census, however we can see the results in the student records. Its really frustrating as we can't find as solution to this one. Thanks

Hi Im trying to set up a series of what if calculators for up subjects. Basically, what I want to do is to: 1. Use 4 matrix p8 calculations for student 2. Work out how much each grade effects p8 score of students for subject and overall.school grades 3. Produce a calculator for each subject area, so staff can work towards a set p8 department figure 4. Automate this, so staff can just change the grades and everything else updates. So far I have; 1. Worked out p8 changes for each subject by increasing/decreasing grades 2. Worked out p8 changes for whole school by increasing/decreasing subject grades So my question is, what is the easiest way to set this up and what are the next steps? Is there a way to do this on 4matrix or do I need to build some custom spreadsheets. Thanks

I need a bit of help. I'm in charge of Work Scrutiny in my school and the amount of paperwork produced is ridiculous, so is the time to input the data so i've got an idea to move over to Survey Monkey to gather the data. Does anyone know anything about it? What i'd like to do is give HOD's access to a pre built survey, which they fill out for their staff members. This seems easy to do. However what I would then like it to do is automatically send that staff member their results as well as uploading/colour coding the results in Blue, Green, Amber, Red. Therefore I don't need to enter any data in an Excel sheet and its all automated. Does anyone know if this is possible? Can you automate sending the responses to other staff members once they complete a survey? Cheers

Hi I'm pretty new to managing behaviour in Sims and have a couple of issues regarding detentions and behaviours. We have just set up our detentions on Sims. When a child is late our attendance officer adds that child to a late detention on the same evening. If the student misses this we move the student across using the attend future sessions function. However we are getting annomolies appearing in the students behaviour records. Please see the picture below. It seems that the behaviour incident changes to "None" (in red) and the status stays as "Unresolved". Any ideas why this might be happening. Also - when a student attends a detention and we mark them as here, should the status automatically changed to resolved, or do we have to do this manually? Thans in advance

Hi I've been asked to look at Truancy call. Does anyone know if you can set it up to send home other types of text messages. We want to send home same day texts about kids having 45min detentions after school and wondered if this can do it? Thank you

Hi We have set up the right click option for behaviour in the register to show our behaviour list. Can someone tell me the name of the lookup table that produces the third menu - see picture below. Is it possible to allocate another lookup table to appear here, rather than the one shown? Thanks

We are not allowing them access/have not allowed them access. I am trying to find out if it is possible for either the Head Boy/Girl to enter data on one section and if that is lockable so that they cannot see anything else. If its not possible thats what I would like to know.

Hi, Not sure if this is possible or not. We have relaunched our achievement system and want to allow a 6th form student to enter some data regarding clubs students attend. Does anyone know if there is a way on Sims to restrict all information that the person can see apart from the achievement and behaviour sections? Any help would be really appreciated Thanks Matt

Hi We are rewriting our behaviour policy and system at my school. One of the things we want to do is to produce a system which automatically flags up students to form tutors when they hit a certain number of behaviour and achievement points. Does anyone know if this is possible? If so, how? We would also like this to automate a letter when these flags are hit. Any help would be really appreciated. Cheers Matt
